Yes. They are a critical part of the Ocean%26#039;s ecosystem. More recently stringent limits on fishing of them have been imposed in many costal areas.

Sharks are a very valuable part of the Eco system of the sea. They clean up the water by consuming carcasses. They control fish populations which would otherwise explode without predation.
They provide fishing entertainment to people all over the world. Sharks are for the most part not a threat to Humans as only a few will predate on Humans. So do not fear them. Just respect them -
Sharks are very interesting creatures. They are survivors from the dinosaurs. They may be scary, but they are very cool!
Plus, without sharks, the marine biome and circle of life would be upsetted. It is for you to determine whether that change is good, bad, or neutral. But there would still be a change.
That%26#039;s why. -
because they could be also useful but in a way

First off, let me saw that I have a shark phobia. However, I believe God put all animals on Earth for a reason. Secondly, if there were no sharks, then there would be an over-population of the animals that sharks eat. It%26#039;s the %26quot;Cirlce of Life%26quot; or so they say.

I think sharks should be saved. They are a vital link in marine life. Marine life is a vital link to our lives. We are all in this world together.

hello kitty??? i think they should i dont know why

If you believe in God, you can tell him sharks should be saved because they%26#039;re also God%26#039;s creature, no matter how sinister looking they may be. He created them for a purpose (population control of pest/other fish, host body for nurse sharks, vital for balanced marine ecosystem, etc.)
Also, some cultures (and some high-end American restaurants) serve shark meat. Others harvest sharks for their cartilige-rich fins or to create liver oil. If shark harvesting wasn%26#039;t controlled, they could become extinct. -
theyre like the top of the food chain in the ocean, so if they are taken out, or if their population is lowered the fish they eat will become over populated. then that species will wipe out their food source, and the system just keeps going, theyre part of a huge life cycle.

Shark cartilage is extremely helpful in joint supplements. It is natural!

ok hunny, they should be saved because they balance the number of animals in the sea. if we did not have any sharks imagine all the animals in the sea and they will eat all the sea plants and there wont be any more food they will starve

every living thing even viruses have their own life and we are no body to tamper with their existence. just as we survive they too, even if they may be of no use to us each and every organism have their own right to be in this planet.
