Yes! I save and collect anything I can when the oppurtunity presents itself. From aluminum to copper wiring to full size automobiles! Everything is worth something. Catylityc converters pay the most. $20 to $110. Every car is worth atleast $150. That%26#039;s $210 right there on my day off.
One place takes cans. One place takes everything as long as it%26#039;s small/manageable like radiators, aluminum wheels, washer/dryers etc.
Another takes the big stuff like the cars.
I have a truck and car trailer for my hobbies but it comes in handy for that stuff. I know optaining a car to turn in for scrap is not exactly what your asking about but yes, save your cans and look in the phone book under scrap or recycling etc. There still buying the stuff like crazy for cash money! I think more so now than ever. The price has really gone up lately on all scrap metal.
Dispose of plastic and paper through community recycling. There not worth a penny but worth doing. near stl. mo. -
You can sell your aluminum at various places and its going at top dollar. About 83 cents a lb. Use Matal Mart on Vine St. or the recycle center beside Sunshine laundrymat on E. Spring St.
