Hey, this sounds like a homework question:-)...
Depending on where you are located when you recycle. I know of a place here in Ct where they will do it for you,but you only get 4 cents per can instead of the standard 5 cents for CT, NY, etc. look on the can to see if they will accept it for recycling. If they don%26#039;t, for instance, any iced tea or lemonade can will not have a deposit on it, however, it can and should still be recycled.
Anyway, mathematically, if you have 100 cans and they are 5 cents each, you multiply 100 X .05 which equals $5.00. Elementary school math. 25% 1 Vote
