Black mold? i have found some black mold on a basement wall...suggestions for getting rid of it? i have already tried bleaching it.

the mold is growing into the fiber of the wall you must remove and replace that section . If this is not possible then try KILZ primer by zinsser it will seal and kill surface mold but only removal will completely eradicate it . battled black mold myself

• I%26#039;ve had the same issue and it%26#039;s a hard one. Before you go and buy the KILZ, bleach and what ever Home Depot tells you; please consult a professional. If you can afford to bring a specialist in do it, if not there is great resources thru the city/county. Don%26#039;t let this go on. Not only your health, but your quality of life is affected. While I suffered from the symptoms of mold allergies I thought that I was nuts, not because I didn%26#039;t believe how the mold affected me, but because no one believed me! My symptoms were the usual allergy symptoms along with ~~~ depression~ and~ lack of energy. Take care of yourself, even if no one will listen; keep searching for the answer to the problem. If you are renting it is the landlords responsibility to take care of this Violation!

Aspergillus for example loves to live in your lungs and can cause symptoms ranging from asthma to bleeding in the lung. Before trying any further home remedies I would consult a professional immediately.
• I would call a handyman or someone like that because you will need to rip out any walls, and anything that is near the mold. Black mold is the most toxic type of mold. The handyman/construction company will contact the right people to rip it all out in a safe way so that it doesn%26#039;t spread to the rest of your house.
