too it%26#039;s SPREADING...so it IS a big deal for the people that lose their houses and businesses..AND I%26#039;m asking if it%26#039;s possible...if it%26#039;s possible then it%26#039;s a big deal for EVERYBODY

Centralia is on top of a Burning coal mine.

It isn%26#039;t a big deal because you need oxygen to have fire and there isn%26#039;t anywhere near a large enough source of oxygen underground to sustain a continent wide burn.

Also. We don%26#039;t have that much coal to make a burning that bad underground.

And that is a bunch of Shiz . That would be great if we had so much gas in the world because then it would be like an infinite source lol.

Umm...yes. It%26#039;s not really a secret. It%26#039;s also not that big of a deal.

Jeez, calm down! There are coal fires all over the planet. Some are natural, some are man-made. The smokey mountains got their name because of the natural coal fires that have been burning.

Of course it%26#039;s a big deal to those directly affected, but that%26#039;s not that many people.

You%26#039;re being an hysterical little girl.
