Can you walk barefoot on stones and it not hurt your feet?

Depends on the stones themselves, if like pebbles and with smooth edges then yes, but if sharp and irregular then perhaps not. But if very small like grit then even irregular stones should be ok to walk on.

• If it hurts your feet than you%26#039;ve been wearing shoes for too long. There are many cultures that have developed hard soles on their feet from walking barefoot, and they have more of a chance to survive without shoes. Try walking with no shoes sometimes, feel the Earth beneath your feet. It%26#039;s how we evolved in the beginning anyways...
• Let%26#039;s see - I%26#039;ve been a barefooter for about 4 years (not full time though since I have to work and such). I can now go barefoot pretty comfortably over rocks and gravel and over fairly hot asphalt and such. It wasn%26#039;t easy at first but your feet get used to it (plus it%26#039;s fun).
  
  One thing I haven%26#039;t done is walk barefoot in snow -- maybe this coming winter. Has anyone done that? (maybe that%26#039;s for another question LOL)

• Yes, I%26#039;m always barefoot and in fact I prefer rougher surfaces like gravel and rocky trails over grass and sand. It%26#039;s good to notice how strong our body can be when you give it a bit of a challenge. eleven years of going barefoot
• No, it doesn%26#039;t hurt me because I think its actually fun feeling the different kinds of stones with something besides your hands. However, it would hurt a lot if the stones were sticking up and really sharp lol. I love being barefoot!

• I used to spend my summers barefoot. My feet used to get hard enough to run barefoot on gravel roads. No problem.
