Did you watch the eclipse last night? If so, what were your impressions? Where were you, who was with you, what reactions, etc.

Best Answer

I sat alone on a hill overlooking the Pacific in San Pedro, CA... I was amazed by how bright the moon seemed. I felt a bit silly to be taking the time to watch the moon, but as soon as the eclipse began it no longer seemed silly at all. I could imagine what primitive man thought of such a sight because it still fills me with a bit of awe. It seemed a good time to think about new goals and to contemplate all the influences in my current life.

My hubby and I pulled the deck chairs outto watch the %26quot;swallowing of the moon.%26quot; Our son played and asked us things like, %26quot;Does [a relative in another state] have the SAME moon?%26quot;
It was slow and quiet. I suppose some would have thought it boring, but we held hands and talked. It was better than TV
