Do cars defeat the purpose of reusable bags?
A person who thinks they care about the environment goes to the grocery store and puts their groceries in reusable bags rather than plastic bags. But then they drive home in their car. Doesn%26#039;t this defeat the purpose? Their car probably caused more pollution to the atmosphere in that trip than would have been caused to the environment if they used plastic bags.

you do have to admit that it is still better than going to the grocer store, getting your groceries in plastic bags, and then driving home.

It%26#039;ll take a massive change in peoples lifestyles to change the enviroment. Doing little things like recycling isn%26#039;t going to change nothing. Only if every single person in the world recycled, reused and bought new energy saving appliances, then the enviroment would become better over time.
