Do farmers make good money?
Like a family owned farm..How much do they make a year? just wondering.
A farmer salary discussion
they get lots of money alright...if their crops failed. subsidies will be supported by the government...but..depending on the kind of crop though....they get from like 50k -300k depending on how large the farm is..commercial farms gets more. I%26#039;m just guessin ..........*mysterously disappear*........
Sort of depends on what you call %26quot;good money.%26quot;
Up till the past couple of years the agriculture commodity markets had roughly stayed the same for 30 years. What this means is that a farmer or rancher that sold his grain crop (corn, wheat ,...) or cattle in the 70%26#039;s, he roughly got the same price in the 80%26#039;s, as well as the 90%26#039;s. But everything else has gone up(for example, my grandpa bought a new tractor in the 70%26#039;s for roughly $30,000 but today the same new horsepower tractor would be over $100,000). Then there is the parts to buy when something breaks down.
Even now the price for the markets isn%26#039;t great and then it%26#039;s only for selecet markets, corn and wheat (mainly) and cattle(sort of).
A farmer/racher can make a living it%26#039;s not just what I would call good money. Also it can depend on the weather and how much land the farm has.
I%26#039;m a farmer/rancher
It depends on the weather and how much water costs. Some years you make money, some years you don%26#039;t, some years you break even, some years you lose. Like playing poker, well not quite. However it all depends on the hand your dealt. It involves alot of hard but rewarding work seven days a week.
it depends in what country the farmers farm, for example the farmers in china are extremly poor, while the farmers in usa r pretty rich.
it depends in which country u live but i can give you the guranttee if u do this work seriously lot of money u can earn
