Do u think people should use animal fur? BEFORE ANSWERING READ THIS!!! Its one thing for someone to kill an animal and use the fur and meat but im talking about just killing an animal for there fur like a bever who eats them? what gives us the right to kill for fur and only fur?

Not only do I trap beaver, I also eat them. And muskrat too. You may think eating rodents is disgusting but its a feeling inspired by American society. I was slightly insulted by that comment. As I%26#039;m sure half the the world would be if you said the same for rats, guinea pigs,etc.


I would consider wild game to be at a higher standard than organic meat. The animals aren%26#039;t just free range, they were literally free. No pens, no cages, no hormones.

But its true, most people do not eat things like beaver if they trap them. But there are other reasons for it. One in particular is flood damage. Beaver have the ability to cause thousands of dollars in road damage, annually, on a relatively small piece of land. They have also been known to flood houses as well.

Beaver populations are extremely healthy these days. As are most fur bearing animals.

Fur farms are now popping up all over the world. Would you really rather the industry resort to raising beaver in a concrete swimming pool in Europe?

And there is this rumor going around that people trap to sell animal pelts... do you know how much you can get for a beaver pelt? Its much less than $10. Your net earnings when you consider the resources involved (fuel, time, etc.) is far less than that of a minimum wage job at McDonalds. NOBODY TRAPS FOR MONEY. Not anymore anyways. 33% 2 Votes
