No, I don%26#039;t believe it. There have been many prophecies about the end of the world and obviously none of them has been correct. But if it does end on that day, so what? We won%26#039;t be here to care.

Perhaps you will like reading this: The same thing has been said in 1856, 1867, 1874, 1889, 1899, 1907, 1914, 1916, 1927, 1936, 1939, 1941, 1944, 1951, 1959, 1969, 1984, 1989, 1999, 2000, 2012.....
See a pattern here? (IT NEVER ENDED!) :-)

Relax, you%26#039;re fine.
The Mayan calendar will run out of dates in its current Long Count cycle of approx 5125 years. Several crackpot philosphers with an incomplete understanding of this calendar have suggested that the world will end on or about this time, since the Maya believed previous three %26quot;creations,%26quot; were terminated by the gods at this time, having been failures. The current creation, however, was thought by the Maya to have been successful, so the end of the world does not necessairly apply (all this assuming the Maya cosmology is a correct and consistent view of our world, which it is not).
But in the end the incorrectly interpreted beliefs about a calender of a people whose civilization collapsed of its own accord, had some other strange and irrational beliefs and are now extinct are pretty irrelevant, aren%26#039;t they? -
No !! I don%26#039;t believe it! ............just relax.
