Energy required fro the production of plastic bags? Hello.......

does someone know the energy consumption for the plastic bags
there are two types of plastic bags, one is called low density plastic bags and the other one is called hgih density, which one requires more energy ?

For one bag the energy required is very little. This is the advantage of mass production and computer control.

Most of the enegy is heating up the plastic for extrusion.

• Plastic bags starts out with small plastic pellets Polyethelene or polypro both melt at the aprox same temp the only difference is the properties of the plastic so There the same for an answer to your question , High or low density pertains to the molecular crosslinking
