Gustav is a joke... Agree? I live in Abita Springs (the eye passed just a few miles from here). I%26#039;ve honestly had thunderstorms worse than this. I%26#039;m sittin here riding it out. I have power, internet, etc... No flooding anywhere near here. Just rain and wind. More wind than rain, though.
Anyone else riding it out and find it a little ridiculous that the media talked this up so much?

...the hurricane gets stronger as it moves up.. didn%26#039;t you watch the news? by the time the north eastern part of the hurricane hits new orleans, its gonna be level 4.
or this can be an excuse by fema to make more evacuations. they are definitely not to be trusted with all the rumors about martial law coming.
they said 9 people were found dead in the caribean and possibly more.
but like i said, we can%26#039;t know for sure, fema%26#039;s not to be trusted.
