Has the water ever gone over the tops of your wellies!???? am i the only one who gets wet socks when wearing wellies!!

Was out today crossing a ditch filled with water! Half way across i got a cold feeling of the muddy dirty water running down my boots!!!!!
Think i will hav to invest in a taller pair!! LOL....

I have not only gone in over the tops of low boots, such as wellies, I have gone in over the top of chest waders. One time I had to swim a short distance to get out of a pond. Another time I landed in the water of a stream between the paddles of a shocker. Luckily, my colleagues were on the ball and by the time I hit the streambed, the paddles were out of the water and someone had stopped the generator. That could have been an electrifying experience. 100% 1 Vote
