I was bit by somehtiong. It looked like a lady bug, but it had a black body, with red dots on it%26#039;s back. HELP! What was it?
Adult ladybugs, or ladybird beetles, are typically a brick red or orange with black markings. But some are black, often with red markings.
Depending on where you live, it might be a Tic??

It is a ladybird only a Harlequin one and I think it is one of the invasive ones, not native to the UK.
