Hot or Cold? What sensation do you like the most
On a really hot day jumping into a swimming pool.
Or
On a really cold day having a hot shower or bath?

I have an idea of how we can test this.
Get a pucket of really hot water, and a bucket of really cold water. Put a hand in each bucket for a minute or so and then quickly take them out and put into the other bucket, see which feels better.
No burning yourself though.

Really cold day having a hot shower!!! Personally I hate swimming pools even though I%26#039;m on the swim team!!

  Having lived in the Mid-East for many a year, where the standing thing is %26quot;it%26#039;s got out nice again%26quot;, I just got used to it, and cannot abide being cold anymore.
  
  Sure, I would run into the sea when the temperature was 40C or over 100F, so found that it is easier to cool off, than being in a cold clime trying to warm up a bit.
  
  Give me heat !
  
  Another thing, some folks think that a cold drink on a hot day will cool them down, and a warm drink on a cold day will warm them up.
  
  The reverse is true.
  If you lower your body temperature with ice cubes etc, things will feel hotter. Similarly, if you raise your temperature with hot coffee in the cold, things will feel colder.
  
  As for sensations, air-con is a bliss when hot %26amp; sticky, and a warm bed is lovely if it is a bit nippy.
  
  So why did we choose to live in a weather system that sways about ?

• I have always preferred a nice hot soothing shower, whether its hot out or not. I always feel clean and refreshed afterwards.
  
  I really hate the feeling I get after hanging out in a chlorinated pool. It makes my skin crawl just thinking about it. All those people peeing in the pool. {{{shivers}}}
• Jumping into a pool on a hot day is really soothening to the mind when visualized .Moreover you are hot,sweaty and sticky!you need a bath like that.When it is cold you dont sweat much and feel the need of a bath but a hot cup of chocolate would be ideal!
• im mixed, i wear sweaters in the summer and nothing in the winter. if i had to pick one you said i would say steaming hot bath on an ice cold day
