How can I help with the Northern California fires? I%26#039;m currently in college majoring in fire technology and I am going to be a firefighter, but what I want to know is how can I volunteer myself to go up north to help? • You could call your local Cal Fire office and ask them. Although some of the fires are federal incidents, Cal Fire typically has staff at federal incidents in addition to the state incidents.
