How can i get rid of bed bugs ? ok i lived in this apt building for about 1 year and never had no problems till a few nights ago. My super attendant is always spraying all apartments.. well just a few nights ago i woke up to something biting me , didn%26#039;t know what it was..fiance told me that it was nothing so i went back to sleep but woke up in morning with all these bite marks.. now tonight i wasn%26#039;t asleep yet but it was dark and i felt things biting me i got up immeditaly and my fiance found a bug on the bed and we searched it on the net and found it was a bed bug,,,

Can anyone please tell me how to get rid of these things.. my fiance thinks they are coming out of the wall.

Not sure how to get rid of them but to stop them biting you, wear bug repellent to bed. That might work. 27% 3 Votes

• Make sure you regularly wash your bedding at or above 60 degC on a good cycle. You might also want to do a warm dry as well. Also I hear that the bedding should be exposed to air and not covered with a sheet so roll back any sheet in the morning when you get up. Also regularly ventilate your room well to stop moisture as that is a good breeding ground. As a short time solution cover up as much as you comfortably can when going to bed. 18% 2 Votes
• Wash all your bedsheets in warm water. Take the mattress out and air it under the sun for at least half a day, while hitting the mattress (with something like a baseball bat) to loosen and remove the dirt and dust stuck in the mattress. This should fix your bedbug problem. Had bedbugs before. Did that and it worked. 18% 2 Votes
• Hoover and then steam clean the mattress all over and the room.
  It goes without saying that you need clean bedding too. Windows open as much as possible to air the room.
