How can you tell what is growing in your yard? Behind my grandma%26#039;s house there has always been this gooey, dark green colored stuff that grows from the ground. It%26#039;s so dark that it look black. It grows in tiny round circles that seem to stick together. If you step on them after it rains you are sure to slip and fall. It doesn%26#039;t have a smell that I know of. But we would like to know what it is. And is there a place where we could send a sample to or that will come out and scoop some of it up?
Oh by the way it%26#039;s not waste from the bathroom or sink. We have already checked the pipes to the sewer line and they are working fine.

it doesn%26#039;t grow but maybe a few centimeters up. And it%26#039;s not a weed or a plant because weed killer wont kill it, We%26#039;ve tried many times to do that. Even with this powerful stuff that you have to wear a mask to use.

  • Its like a fungus plant that grows green but is dark because it has been left there for a while I%26#039;m not sure what it%26#039;s called but I%26#039;ve seen the stuff before I%26#039;m currently studying horticulture what you could do is google pics of plants and find the one your talking about because I%26#039;ve only just started the course. The black on it could have been form from dirt in the ground anyway best of luck.
  • Find a book of indigenous plants and start looking; your library should be able to help you out with that.
  • Looking at it might help.
  • Have you tried smoking any? J/K Maybe it%26#039;s moss or fungus.
