How do I anonymously report that my former employer is dumping toxic and carcinogenic chemicals in Alberta? I have tried the Alberta Environment website, but there is no way to submit an anonymous tip.
I signed a letter saying that all information obtained at the company is confidential and I cannot discuss it with anyone. Is this just a scare tactic?

Thanks, but the FDA is an american entity.
and/or local environmental pressure groups, try lots of them some will be braver than others.

i%26#039;m sure its not illegal to expose illegality, what was that film - silkwood? - where the woman grassed up the nuclear plant, and that was years ago. lately the u.s. gov itself has been exposed for hassling scientists who produce inconvenient results so they havnt a leg to stand on.

oops, excuse my ignorance. alberta is in canada %26lt;blush smiley goes here%26gt;. the canadian gov. sacked their nuclear power chief recently for closing a plant for safety reasons, there was a world wide fuss about it so h%26amp;s is being taken rather more seriously at the moment; they know we are watching....
  • Just call and request that you be anonymous. It%26#039;s not like they%26#039;ll go out of their way to expose you. If you call the cops on a loud neighbor at night they%26#039;re not going to say %26quot;the woman directly across the street told us your music is too loud.%26quot; Agencies like this are designed to protect people like you.
  • does the FDA do work in this area? maybe try and call them. and if it is a legal document you signed, it may get you sued if you do share info. but i f you are concerned about the environment, you might look up some websites, or try the FDA or something.
