How do the environmentalists feel about fishing? Are they for or against it? I love to go fishing! But I also care about the environment, is fishing good or bad. I don%26#039;t just fish for fun, I clean the fish cook them and eat them, but sometimes I catch fish I can%26#039;t eat. I try to put them back in the water but some of them die because they swallowed the hook. Is fishing environmentaly friendly? Oh, I should mention I don%26#039;t fish from a boat I only fish from the shore.

the net fishing by commerical people is what needs to monitored closely.

it is just fine. most environmentalist are against the fishing of some endangered animals like whales, etc.
