Photosythesis turns solar enrgy into useful things for the earth and humans. It turns co2 into oxygen and %26quot;banks%26quot; the carbon. It makes food and vegetation that we and other animals eat. I think photosynthesis is when plants make their food. Well the plants take in CO2 (carbon dioxide) and make glucose(sugar) and oxygen. So it helps the environment by taking CO2 out of it, and it helps us by giving us oxygen and food (we eat plants). Hope this helped! Good question! :D
