• depends on rank.... supposedly all branches have the same pay table, depending on rank. the only difference is that in iraq, you get paid tax free and some extra pay depending on the branch.

  you get a sign on bonus which can be up to 30,000. you then get about 3,000 a month. plus food. plus shelter. plus shelter for your family. plus all medical expenses paid for you and your family. plus living expenses for your family who is still in the states. plus their food. etc etc et
