depends on rank.... supposedly all branches have the same pay table, depending on rank. the only difference is that in iraq, you get paid tax free and some extra pay depending on the branch.

I%26#039;m not 100% sure but it would be very low. I think that it is voluntary to go. Or in the other wars it weas compulsory. In other words you%26#039;re gonna almost die for no money.

it doesnt exactly work like that.
you get a sign on bonus which can be up to 30,000. you then get about 3,000 a month. plus food. plus shelter. plus shelter for your family. plus all medical expenses paid for you and your family. plus living expenses for your family who is still in the states. plus their food. etc etc et
so you get paid very well. more than what most of us get paid.
