I need help...10 points!!!!? We have raccoons in our attic...a mom with at least one baby, we%26#039;re not sure how many kids she has exactly. Has anyone else ever had this problem, and if so, how did you get rid of them? The scratching is driving me nuts.

Thanks a bunch!!!!!

I would call animal control %26amp; have them investigate it. You don%26#039;t want to be messing around raccoons they could have all kinds of diseases! We had possums in our garbage cans before %26amp; animal control came right out and took them away :)

  • Go to the SPCA and rent a cage , then when cleaning up after wards be sure to wear gloves and throw them away after , there is some parasite in the raccoons feces that is dangerous and can kill you , and there is no know antibiotic that kills it, at least that is what they said on the discovery channel , if you use an instrument to pick up the feces get rid of it also, don%26#039;t forget to close the entry way they used after because you will get some more little cuties good luck
  • CALL ANIMAL CONTROL!!! As much as you may love animals, raccoons are wild animals and can carry rabies, they almost certainly have fleas and/or ticks, they%26#039;ll eat through your belongings in the attic. For all the above reasons, call animal control and they will advise you of the best plan of action.
