I understand India%26#039;s sewer system is subpar. Do people still dump feces out the window in buckets there? I%26#039;m trying to understand why there is so much typhoid and malaria, things of that nature. Is it due to poor sanitation or hygiene? I also understand trash doesn%26#039;t get collected very much and it builds up and stenches.

I don%26#039;t know about out the window, but they do go outside, without the outhouse. As do many other less developed countries.
