I want a career to Help the Environment, but how? I know there are lots of grassroots organizations out there, but I really don%26#039;t want to be a canvasser on the streets or going door-to-door. I am 25 college grad (unrelated arts degree), with limited experience. I volunteer as a nature ecologist at my local zoo now. I have a dog, so I need somewhat of a homebase. Any suggestions as to where to take my career?
(Been thinking about Americorp as well)

  • Become a Politicianical Emissions Composting Engineer. If you have any background dealing with hazardous waste, you can work with the Exploitative Spewage Remediation Foundation which cleans up the emissions from Al Gore Howard Scream...err, I mean Dean, and Irreverend Wrongh, and other spewifiers who need cleaning up after. Support for this organization is done by selecting individuals with terminal halitosis who work air ports and door to door, lecturing right into the faces of prospective funders who pay them to go away and never come back. I wish you well on your new career.
