First link is KEWL... love that shot.. of course what they did NOT say is that that is a 20 FOOT sea level rise... ipcc only predicts INCHES in the next century.. so how long is it going to get 20 feet?!? 20 to thirty CENTURIES??


Second link is again fun to watch.. nice time lapse photo of sea level rise over the last decade... ever wonder why they dont%26#039; show it over the last 2 centuries.. instead of the last 2 decades... reason is there is that they don%26#039;t like the way the graph looks.. it is a VERY subtle increase.. they pick dates of little or no change (1850) to begin their curve.. then pick the nearest date of maximum change to end it... and instead of data fitting ALL data.. they FIRMLY place the beginning and end dates. then fit a curve that mediates the data points in between.. thus ensuring the curve they WANT you to see.


you say it is the first ice less summer of the north pole ever but we really don%26#039;t know that.. remember until the advent of satellites we had ZERO means of monitoring the ice covered areas... also we don%26#039;t KNOW this one will be ice less. it is simply a theory

Global warming alarmists amaze me... if i asked you if you believed in god.. you would say provide to you reproduceable FACTS that demonstrate a god and you will believe.. but you accept global warming with NO reproduceable facts.. touting theory as if it were fact.

There is certainly a natural 12,000 year cycle, but what scientist are seeing today. The breadth and depth of the warming and the speed at which it is happening has not been seen in the fossil record for over a %26#039;Million%26quot; years. I don%26#039;t think it%26#039;s realistic to think that can be attributed to a 12 thousand year cycle

So people can bury their head in the sand if they want too. But denial of whats happening won%26#039;t make it stop.

It%26#039;s definitely happening and it is real.

Big business is spending millions in publicity and Washington lobbyist every year to convince people and especially our politicians that it%26#039;s not happening.

There%26#039;s many controversies on both sides but mainly what we%26#039;re advertised with these days is the fact that is does exist. Most people don%26#039;t seem to see the other side with actual facts that it doesn%26#039;t exist. I%26#039;m gonna have to say it%26#039;s actually unable to be determined at the moment because of both facts of the 10,000 years of increasing then decreasing climate as well as the facts about carbon in in our atmosphere. My My, You sound like you%26#039;re in a panic-state over this global warming thing, and you apparently have been thoroughly brainwashed by Al Gore and the %26quot;Greenies%26quot;. Just to put your mind at ease:
Most reputable scientists disregard Al Gore%26#039;s version of global warming and his catastrophic predictions for our world as we know it.
The Earth goes thru normal heating and cooling cycles which last over millions of years, and scientists say we might even be heading into another cooling cycle (ice age).
But not to worry, by that time we will be long gone and humans will have mastered space travel and will be able to inhabit many other heavenly bodies which are more accomodating to us.
