Thanks Shelby, it looked kind of like the female with breeding plumage in the picture at that link. Unless someone else has a better answer, I think I%26#039;m going to assume that was it.PS. We get those birds here in Westchester County, NY, so its very likely to could see them in your area as well. You typically won%26#039;t find them at a regular bird feeder, since they like to feed upside down. You need a special feeder for them, with openings below the perch. And, you%26#039;ll need to fill the feeder with black thistle seed.
