If all tree%26#039;s were destroyed would humans still be able to breath? Prob a stupid question but hey im bored and i looked a tree outside my window and decided to ask lol =P do we actually need tree%26#039;s to breath? or is it just some crap my mum told me along time ago.

byderule......lol at your answer :) if you%26#039;re going to buy me the book i obviously need then please fell free and i%26#039;ll read it :) but why should i spend my hard earned cash on a book when i can just ask the nice people off yahoo answers? well...most of them are nice...yes i%26#039;m looking at you fool.

You may know about tree%26#039;s but you dont know how to have a personality. read it properly...i was just looking out the window....you think i give a **** about if we need trees or not? just wanted a quick answer dude and i don%26#039;t need a book for that. good day to you :)

byderule - I did want to know it but you just annoyed me when all i wanted to know was an answer not someone telling me to get more education...it was uncalled for and stupid on your part. Internet is indeed free hence why i asked here!!!!! Jeez some people..

yeah you could still breathe. most of our oxygen is produced by micro plants in the oceans that cover 71% of the world.
you could probably get rich by going into the umbrella/sun shade business though.

• Mmm... tricky question, yes trees produe our oxegen but so do all other green plants, so iff you took away all the trees there would still be other plants creating oxegen so yes we would be able to breath but the inevitable global warming would most likey click in over night and we would all die anyhow! lol
• People would still have all of the other plants supplying them with oxygen. ;p But without trees, ecosystems would die off, causing all of the other plants to wither away and kick the bucket as well. THEN we%26#039;d wind up running out of air.....and food.....and every other plant or tree derived product.
• No. we wont be able to breathe. trees are the producers of oxygen as we produces carbon dioxides to them.. huge amount of carbon dioxide can kill us humans, so if the trees are gone and all in the air is carbon dioxides, then we wont have any future at all. it%26#039;s death that is coming.
• yes they produce oxygen so go hug a tree, or sit under one and u can tell the diffference, ever climbed one and just sat on the branch, well that was knowing without why,have a good tree day
