Importance of the atmosphere Could you give me some uses of the following

1.Oxygen
2.Nitrogen
3.Carbon DiOxide
4.Water Vapour(or vapor)
5.Ozone
6.The atmosphere in general

I know quite a few basic ones, but anything will be great.

  2 It is to keep the oxygen at a right level.
  3 Is needed for the plants to recycle CO2 into O2.
  4 it is needed to be comfortible breathing. Without moisture the noose gets very dry.
  5 Ozone. The one the weather man reports on is not ozone but NO2 . True ozone is O3 about 150 miles up where the solar winds collide with the earth%26#039;s magnetic field. Nothing else gets that high..
