new info:ok he%26#039;s a nut, he wants to have oil in the future. he thinks he can preserve a can of oil for 50 years. If so he is going to buy a lot of it.

Tell him to pour it all back into the ground. After 10 years he can drill for it, show the oil companies that there is oil on his land, and they will buy the land from him for a good buck.

There are currnelty 700 million barrels of crude oil, stored in underground salt caverns in Texas and Louisiana. Been ther for years. Better get some salt

Well I keep vegetable oil in my deep fat fryer for periods of 2-3 weeks and chips still taste good. Don%26#039;t know if this helps.
