Is it possible to store oil for future use? Is it possible to store oil (crude or refined) in a container. My uncle built a shelter and he wants to store oil in it that needs to last 50 years and still stay fresh. I don%26#039;t think it is possible, does anyone know?

ok he%26#039;s a nut, he wants to have oil in the future. he thinks he can preserve a can of oil for 50 years. If so he is going to buy a lot of it.

Certainly he can store oil for 50 years. I assume he%26#039;ll store the machinery for it, too, as in 50 years you won%26#039;t find a gas driven vehicle outside of a museum. 100% 1 Vote
