Like lets say we use all the fresh water on earth, over fish the ocean, the ozone layer and greenhouse gasses are double what they are now, many species of animals have been extinct and the rain forest decimated...do you think the earth would be thrown into an ice age or other natural disaster that would destroy the human race completely thus allowing itself to recover or do you think it%26#039;s possible for us to completely destroy the Earth before we ourseves die off?
I think everything we do to the Earth effects the weather patterns and eventually we will have done enough to cause them to threaten our very exisitance. A form of natural defense as it were. What do you think?

I think that the natural systems of the planet have enough inertia that even if something catastrophic were to happen, it would settle out after several centuries; maybe a millenium.
And, human beings are adaptable enough that even if nearly everyone was wiped out, there%26#039;d still be survivors who would repopulate. 0% 0 Votes -

The End is always coming, but look on the bright side: so is a new beginning. Just not necessarily for us...
