Large Blossom Tree on footpath outside my house.. roots advice please? Hi i have a large blossom tree outside my house on the public footpath. The roots are protruding through the footpath and have broken through my garden path/drive way... the floor is very uneven because of the roots.

Can i do anything about this? complain to the council? ask for the tree to be cut down? ask for the roots to be cut back? will there be a cost... ive already tripped over uneven path once

Am i at fault if someone trips on the uneven floor in my garden? what if anything can the council do?

Since the tree is on council property you should talk to them. It will probably mean felling the tree, but that is their decision.

• Eat the blossoms off the tree. This will give you the ability to fly over the path without tripping and slay the dragon. Seek guidance from the great council of elders on what to plant in your garden but do not complain to them for they know little about roots in the pathway.
