Looking for examples of ground source heat pumps used for commercial buildings. Any thoughts? I%26#039;m looking for examples of ground source heat pumps being used to heat/cool large buildings, that is, something a bit bigger than an ordinary house. For example - a factory, large office building etc.

I work for the Keewatin Patricia District school board in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. We heat a number of our schools with ground source heat pumps. These buildings are in the 40,000 - 60,000 sq. ft. range. For more info check out the facilities link under the department menu at the KPDSB web site. 57% 4 Votes

• The idea is taking off in Australia for office buildings and is an energy efficient method of heating buildings. It doesn%26#039;t seem to be used where I am now which is in the Middle East as cooling towers offer a more energy efficient method of rejecting waste heat where only cooling is required. 43% 3 Votes
