Morecambe Bay waves ? Why are Morecambe Bay waves so unexpected and dangerous?

thank you!

Best Answer - Chosen by Voters

Because for some reason the tide doesn%26#039;t ebb and flow, coming in gradually.
It just flows into the bay as if someone has turned on a tap. They sound a warning siren and fly a flag. It is dangerously fast. 60% 3 Votes

  • comes in like a flood no warning, if you ever go out there take a local they no the tides problem is that it comes in that fast that next thing your stuck on a sand bunk until it gets to you don%26#039;t go unless you take a local or a moter bike 0% 0 Votes
  • Because the Bay is very shallow, hence the water enters it at great speed. 40% 2 Votes
