My friend had an interesting question? the question is very simple... if the groundhog sees his shadow it means that Spring begins in 6 WEEKS. on the other hand if the groundhog does NOT see its shadow it means that there are 6 MORE WEEKS of winter. are we the only ones who who cannot figure out the difference between the end of winter %26amp; the beginning of spring?

Actually, the legend is that if the groundhog sees it%26#039;s shadow there will be six more weeks of winter and if it doesn%26#039;t %26quot;spring is on the way.%26quot; I think the general assumtion is that winter will subside before that six week mark if the groundhog doesn%26#039;t see it%26#039;s shadow. It is just a silly old wives tale though, they usually don%26#039;t make much sense :-) My birthday is on Groundhogs Day :-) 100% 2 Votes
