• Its true that the fires pumped out eight million tonnes of carbon dioxide (only) but wild fires don%26#039;t happen everyday. Thats what the state puts out in only 30 days. And carbon from burning trees and burning fuel is not exactly the same thing. And the annual emissions by these natural processes are only 4-6 percent (2-8 percent at most) of the harmful ones from factories and engines. This is a part of a natural process. Its not only in the states its also happening in Russia, larger scale.
