Raw Material.? In my opinion, we should not have to pay for the sewerage disposal. The fact being, that we supply the raw material for free and is totally organic. The bi- products are endless, and we should be given somthing in the terms of refund (MONEY!) Opinions please. And no jokes about talking cr*p. This a serious john.B. question!!!

• even if it was worth anything the cost to take the product from your home {sewage lines under ground} there is was the cost of the sewage lines the maintenance of these lines the construction of new lines in subdivisions not to mention the cost of processing the raw material into a bio safe product to apply on the farm lands,also many people dump what ever into the sewer drains the cost of decontaminating the toxins in the sewage at present I think we are lucky to be getting away with the minimal fee we pay now if you access the city budgets you will see that most cities operate the sewage end of things with large subsidies the taxes collected only cover a small portion of actual service costs

• The problem is that collecting and processing the sewage into something that can be sold costs more than you can get selling it. Reference the city of Milwaukee%26#039;s %26quot;Milorganite%26quot; product.
  
  Another problem is that industries and some homeowners pour toxic materials into the sewer, limiting the value of recovered organics.

When was the last time you looked in one of the nastiest sites that show you what some people are eating? and you tell me if you eat disgusting human waste ,you tell me is that oraganic??? Sorry to be so blunt but they do have a site on what some people eat..and believe me its not ORGANIC!!!
• As a kid we had it as Top Soil in the garden, grew most of the families veggies and strawberries in it. Pigs love it and I suspect could thrive on the stuff but alas here in sunny Peckham it just bursts out of the drains and fills the cellars so only the Mossies and Mushrooms get to benefit. Lived rough for several years atop a mountain Bog, the S##t-Pit became an oasis of Life in the wilderness. I believe a village in the North uses Horse turd to generate heat for hot water. Brilliant stuff, how wastefully careless we are with it as a resource. Good question hope you get some valid responses.
