Sink or Float?? You know that saying that one day calfornia with just get ripped off the united states because of all the fault lines. would it sink or float?

If there is land underneath it to hold it up it wont sink. Islands don%26#039;t just float in the ocean; They%26#039;re on land under the water. As for california, it will probably float away and then sink slowly until it touches the bottom of the ocean and is held up. Lots of discovery channel and other science sources
