The reason on the straightener might be because the outlets are different and it can cause the straightener to basically fry up.

labelling laws in California state that if a product contains possible carcinogenic materials it must indicate that on the label.So more convenient to make one label instead of one label for California and another for the rest of the states,and if one box of none labelled product gets shipped to California huge law suit
