We have well water and it is high in lime? Is there any health risk? We have it tested every year and they say it is good water and safe. I was just concerned about the lime.Thanks in advance for any answers.

Lime in drinking water is not a health problem. It does require the use of softening chemicals or additional detergent when you wash your clothes, though.

• we had a drilled well that after the 3rd year for whatever reason didn%26#039;t increase in lime levels and we had to stop using it for the house. By that time our county was running city lines so that was a blessing. As long as it%26#039;s being tested and they say it%26#039;s within safe levels I%26#039;d think you%26#039;re ok...who knows what we%26#039;re drinking now?
