There aren%26#039;t many, that%26#039;s for sure. One present advantage is that is is still fairly easy to produce because there are established oilfields all , over the place from the North Sea to Venezuela. On top of that the infrastructure used to produce and distribute it is already in place.Alternative fuel sources such as %26#039;bio-deisel%26#039; still rely on oil production to run transport, ethanol (from sugar cane) doesn%26#039;t and neither does the highly explosive gas hydrogen that only requires oxygen to burn in (what%26#039;s water made from?). Wind generators, wave power and solar energy are all more %26#039;efficient%26#039; as the resources they rely on to produce energy are unlikely to run out as oil certainly will. 100% 1 Vote

well,I guess it%26#039;s efficent, but with the soaring price and the pollution concerns I%26#039;m no longer convinced that the good outways the bad

None. It is a limited resource, a pollutant and expensive to produce. No positives that I can see.

I%26#039;ve heard that oil is basically ancient dinosaurs. I think it%26#039;s pretty cool to think that when I step on the gas pedal, I%26#039;m running my car on dino-power. Roar.
