What are the other factors of overpopulation except bitrth control? I am doing a paper on the cause and effect of overpopulation and I was wondering what the other factors of overpopulation were except the lack of resources, birth control and immigration.

  From what i know, America is not overpopulated.
  
  And i think the overpopulation issue in our contemporary world is due to the fact that people are living much longer.
  
  Medication has improved a lot.
  Long time ago, people used to die because of a small injury.

  World is much more connected.
