What do you think? Ok strange question. I just moved into a new place and am getting things in order. I%26#039;m shredding old bills and what not (its a crosscut shredder which I heard makes it harder for bad people to put back 2gether). Anyways, I am big on recyling and I was thinking of either#1 giving the shreds to a local animal vet/animal shelter ( when animals (I know kitties) get fixed they cant use regular littler for the first few days and have to use shreded up paper). Or #2 should just take it to the local reclying center? What do you guys think?! Thanks=)

I would go with your local animal vet/shelter. I%26#039;m sure they%26#039;d be more than happy to take it. Hey, either way, your doing your part!

  • I think taking it to the vet is a wonderful idea! The only thing is, the paper they print your bills on is not as soft as the newsprint they usually use, so I would check and see if they will accept your paper or not. Also, you will have to make sure that you are not shredding the envelopes into the mix as well...I don%26#039;t think the plastic window would be good for the kitties.
  • If you live near an Animal Sanctuary I would give it to them as I dont think they will want try to piece it together if the Animals need it, and as you said it is a Mammoth task to put the pieces together, I have a Cross Cut shredder.
  • take it to the animals it will make you and the animals happy
  • recycle it.... doubt the animals can use it because my dogs eat paper and napkins (i cannot leave a napkin anywhere or else)
