What gives off more oxygen? Just curious if you know the answer to this...what gives off more oxygen, a OLD, mature forest or a newly planted plantation?

Big Nickel...incorrect!! Trees give off oxygen by pulling in carbon dioxide and storing the carbon and releasing the oxygen.....so a growing tree needs the carbon to grow and pulls in more carbon dioxide to be able to store the carbon to grow....which then gives off more oxygen then a mature tree which is extremely slow growing....
