What is all of this yellow powder in atlanta? For the last few days, everything in at least the southern Atlanta metro area is covered with a yellow pollen-like powder. This is my first spring down here, and I%26#039;m curious as to what this stuff is. If it is pollen, what kind?

Definitely Pine Pollen. It%26#039;s the time of the annual yellow snow festival.
It usually occurs around the middle of March but with Global Cooling, it%26#039;s coming later.
