What part of the country? In Washington state, it%26#039;s about $.07 cents per kw hour. I understand in New York it%26#039;s as much as $.27 cents per kw hour.What makes the real difference is what the cost is per kw hour.

depends on how your apartment is heated.
i just got my first apartment, a one bedroom in fact, I%26#039;m expecting my first bill september 9th.
the thing is, i know the cost for me to have energy, will be far more then the energy i actuarial use.

Energy bills for apts. have extreme variances with each tenant. One will conserve and have low energy bills, others will leave the doors and windows open with the heat and or AC on. Some like it hot, some like it cool.
