It is toxic to all living creatures. The bigger problem is that it doesn%26#039;t go away. It doesn%26#039;t chemically combine with anything else to make it less harmful. So that means that where ever it goes becomes toxic and anything that eats it passes it on. Very small amounts won%26#039;t kill you but it builds up sort of like the Dead Sea and will eventually kill you. Since it is useful in electronics, we still use it in everyday life.
