What kind of bird is this? There is a lake right by where i live and i go fishing there and theres these birds that come up from down farther on the lake and go to the opisite side from where i am fishing and they go to the same spot always up on the bank of the lake when they come out of the water.They have white heads with a black body can you please tell me what kind they are?If you can find a picture of what you think it is?

If they have long legs, then they could be a type of heron. If they swim in the water, they sound like gulls. Google heron and look for images. You%26#039;ll see hundreds.
