I think I know exactly what you might have. I just had a similar encounter. They are weevils or flour beetles. There are many species of this type and they are all small as you mention. Some of them are the confused flour beetle and the red flour beetle. We had the latter and had to store everything that was food in air tight containers until their life cycle was complete.

We no longer supplement our diet with their protein in our food like breakfast cereal. I didn`t know I was supplementing anything before this. Haven`t gotten sick from it either. Check your pantry, if you happen to see alot of little specks like spilled tobacco, then you need to start doing as I did. me %26amp; www.ipm.ucdavis.edu 100% 1 Vote

  • Fleas. The easiest way to kill them is to mix some gasoline and polystyrene, spread it on your carpet, and light it. The mixture, is flamable but burns at a nice low temperate so as not to damage anything. Open your windows first though! It%26#039;ll smell pretty nasty, but the fleas will all be burned out.

I suggest if you have pets de-fleaing them too. 0% 0 Votes
